Project's period (from/to):
01 September 2017 - 31 August 2019
Activity concerned:
IO2 - Didactical Map of Religious Sites
Objectives of activities carried out:
The project general aim is to foster the role of school education for the enhancement of social inclusion, through a peer to peer transnational knowledge sharing experience for a mutual understanding of religious habits and beliefs and through a critical analysis of the role played by the main monotheistic religions in history of mankind.

The aim of this Intellectual Output is to produce an Interactive web based Didactical mapping of Religious sites as places (e.g. pilgrims’ routes, ghettos, hostel for pilgrims etc.), sites of worship (churches, synagogues, mosques) and/or artistic masterpieces (e.g. paintings, statues etc.) that are significant from a religious point of view. The places/sites of worship/masterpieces should represent the history of religions and the roles they have played in the context of their local area, from a multidisciplinary point of view: historical, cultural, sociological, economical etc. The contents should take the form of teaching materials to be used by teachers with their students.
Description of activities carried out:
Pixel, in cooperation with CIPAT, produced a detailed calendar of activities in order to identify the different partners' roles, deadlines and responsibilities. Pixel also contributed to the development of the following template:
- IO2.A – Religious Sites

Pixel coordinated the activity of the partners and checked the formal respect of the standards agreed.
