BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE ORGANISATION
The first Bulgarian school in Archar was opened in 1832. At first it was housed in private houses. The first teacher was a Slavic-Macedonian teacher who came from Wallachia during the war between the Serbs and the Turks, under the nickname Dimitar. After the construction of the church in 1847 a church cell begins to serve as a school. The first teacher in her is Angel Ivanov from village. Borovitsa, Belkovsko. In 1883 lay the foundations of the new school building in a church location. In the same year it was built and covered with tiles. The idea and design of the new school are the work of Tsoko Ts. Mumdzhiev, priest Vasil Pop Kamenov, Angel Nyagulov, Philip Petkov and Vanko M. Palapurdov. The church capital was used to make the school amounting to BGN 8,000. without any money from the population. In 1887 the school building was finally completed and on December 1 of that year it began to teach children regularly. In the school year 1908-1909 an upper course was opened.

Today, 326 students from 1 to 12 grade are trained in the school.
