DESCRIPTION OF THE RELIGIOUS SITE
DESCRIPTION
Balıklıgöl is 150 meters long and 30 meters wide. The depth is about 3-5 meters. There are fishes of the carp type which are subject to legend. These fish are respected by the people and are invincible. According to Rivay, Hz. After Abraham is thrown into the fire, a miracle takes place, and it becomes a rose. It is believed that the place where this miracle takes place is Balıklıgöl and its surroundings. Religious holidays with Mevlit and Kandil nights reach the highest number of visitors.
HISTORICAL RELEVANCE

INTER-RELIGIOUS RELEVANCE
In Balıklıgöl Plateau there is a cave where Abraham was born. The visitor of the cave where Hz.Ibrahim was born, which is accepted as the religious monastery of three samavi, is never missing. Visitors from every country and every city visit this cave in every season of the year. Bediüzaman Said Nursi, who was a religious scholar at the time when he lived next to the cave where Ibrahim was born, also has a grave where he was buried for the first time after his death.
RELIGIOUS INFLUENCE
Balıklıgöl Şanlıurfa is a tourist attraction area. Halil-ür is located in the south of Rahman Lake, in front of Urfa Kalesinin, with a 150 m2 area.
