1.5 The main aims of the course
The aim of the course is to offer a wide range of educational opportunities, considering that:
  • It is a freely available resource.
  • It offers testable materials for further research and insights, to be suggested in school classes.
  • It intends to provide the basis for the construction of a common heritage, albeit in diversity, to be respected, known and defended against any danger and risk of one-sided intolerance and interpretation.

The last but not the least, it might even provide a new methodological approach to teaching religions, starting from the differences, but trying to build a common vision of the world.
