DESCRIPTION OF THE RELIGIOUS SITE
DESCRIPTION
Since 2005 this foundation went in various location in France in order to recruit new members in the jewish and muslim community, aiming at getting this two seemingly opposite religions together, in order to create a new relation between the two religions, and provide a better understanding of each other.
Using a bus to tour, their movement called "The bus of Friendship" managed to recruit thousands of members all over France. If their main site is based in Ris-Orangis near Paris, they actually have 10 offices in France.

HISTORICAL RELEVANCE
From 2005 until now their initiative has proven that there is a real desire of dialogue but also a forever growing feeling of prejudice, racist stereotypes, anti-semitism, anti-muslim...
In partnership with other foundations and educational and psychological scientists, they made a program that they implemented to fight against these stereotypes and hatred of another community.

INTER-RELIGIOUS RELEVANCE
Seeing the bad relations between these two different religious communities in France, this foundation implemented a new program in order to bring Judaism and Islam together.
Although there will always be conflicts, this at least opens the debate and offers to the people that want to, to put away their stereotypes and unit for a moment.

RELIGIOUS INFLUENCE
In this foundation are mixed together muslims and jews, so there is no predominant faith. The aim is to deeply understand each other and accept the others belief. Debate can be opened and to their own opinion, but the deteriorating relation between these two needs a solution, and if there are results it can influence more people to do the same, and trade hatred with communication.
HOW TO USE WITH THE STUDENTS
Checking the website is the best solution, since the meetings take place in different areas and they go around France by bus one must contact them directly.
